Patrick Kadalie is the Founder and Managing Director of KS & Partners Management Consultancy, a boutique Management Consultancy, specialising in Business Strategy & Innovation and Technology. Patrick is Cofounder and Director at the Headspring Group an ideas and innovations consultancy and Partner at Broadstream Media, a joint venture company between Intaba Risk Solutions and Headspring Group.
Patrick is also the CEO of the South African Growth Institute (SAGI). SAGI’s mission is to create a powerful ecosystem which brings together the key role players across the Public, Private and NPO sectors to support a sustainable future for all.
Patrick sits on numerous Boards, which includes amongst others the Suurbraak Community Development Trust, The Ukunyamezela Trust, The Douglas Murray Home and The Service Dining Room all geared towards the development of Economic, Social and Community upliftment.
Patrick has held senior management positions within the Financial Services and ICT industries. Patrick has been instrumental in implementing large scale and complex Technology transformation initiatives within a large blue chip corporate organisation nationally and internationally, namely Old Mutual PLC.
He recently led a Multi-Million Rand Operational Excellence Programme in a Global IT Organisation across their Emerging Markets, UK and European segments in order to leverage key strategic capabilities to enable long-term commercial growth. Further, Patrick has championed many integrated process improvement initiatives in IT, which have resulted in significant cost savings, business efficiencies and improved levels of service for his clients.
He received the CIO Award in 2006 for leading a multimillion rand project which resulted in the IT organisation achieving the Software Capability Maturity Model Level 3 (SW-CMM L3) certification. A highly respected international accreditation originally developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Carnegie Mellon University for the US Department of Defence. Patrick is Registered at Carnegie Mellon University, Software Engineering Institute, USA, Issued 2006/03/01 for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (Stage and Continuous), V1.1 (CMMi).
He has also has extensive experience in Process Improvement methodologies and practices such as LEAN & AGILE, Project Management, SDLC’s, IT Service Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Operational Improvement projects, Knowledge Management, Strategic Change Management, IT Strategy etc. He has presented papers at numerous conferences such as the 2003/2004 SAATCA international conference and has also contributed to some of the ISO standards as a technical work group participant. Patrick is a Certified Process Professional Master (CPP Master).
